The Historic Wooster Square Association (HWSA), Inc. provides leadership in identifying and acting on community issues and concerns affecting the quality of life in our historic neighborhood.
We do this by working closely with other city and state organizations to achieve mutual goals.
We advocate for neighborhood beautification and preservation
We keep residents informed of important local issues
We represent neighborhood interests with Zoning, the Historic District Commission, the Parks Department and Commission, and other City agencies
We collaborate with related neighborhood organizations including CitySeed, Court Street Association, Wooster Square Watch, The Wooster Square Conservancy, Downtown Wooster Square Community Management Team, and Urban Resources Initiative.
We arrange concerts in Wooster Square Park and local churches (COVID has limited these types of events)
