The Neighborhood.

All are welcome in Wooster Square.

Welcome to the neighborhood.

New Haven is large enough to be interesting, yet small enough to be friendly.

Our Parks & Gardens

We have 5 parks and 2 community gardens. We’re proud of our green thumb!

  • The park is stunning, and surrounded by gorgeous historic homes and buildings. It’s a photographer’s dream, especially during Cherry Blossom season.

You’re also a block away from some of the best pizza in the world.

  • Created and maintained through private funding by the Friends of Wooster Square, the Union Street Dog Park is located on Union Street between Chapel and Fair Streets.

  • A dog-friendly playground found on Wooster St. at Warren St.

  • Lenzi Park, located at 9 Jefferson Street between Grand Avenue and Saint John Street, is maintained by the Friends of Lenzi Park in collaboration with URI. It is named after Private Joseph W. Lenzi, a Wooster Square resident who lost his life in WWII.
